Fox News host Mark Levin wants to make it very clear: rumors that he has broken with President Donald Trump have been greatly exaggerated.

On Thursday, Levin — a far-right commentator and author who has spent years as a talk radio host — appeared to take grave offense at an article published in The Mirror US, which characterized him as having “turned on” the president.

“Fox News host and long-time Trump supporter Mark Levin has criticized the president following remarks about removing sanctions on Turkey, a decision Levin described as a ‘big mistake,'” said that report, quoting Levin as saying on X, “It’s Christmas in Turkey. We’re piling on so many generous and expensive gifts even Erdogan is surprised. Big Mistake.”

Levin, however, went back to X to clarify that while he disagrees with Trump on this issue, he is very much not a critic of the president in any other context.

“NO, I am not and have not turned on President Trump. I remain a strong supporter and that will not change,” said Levin. “The media narrative is utterly false. But they love to stir the pot and create controversy. There is no controversy.”

Levin went on to add, “I have my own opinions about certain matters, including my opposition to the sale of F-35s to Turkey and my belief the Iranian regime must be eliminated,” and these are views he has had for years before Trump was even president. But “to be clear: I am a proud Trump supporter, and his decisions are always aimed at what’s best for our country. Unlike the Democrats, he loves America and the American people.”

This comes days after Levin came under fire from fellow conservatives for suggesting Trump should have carried out a surprise strike on Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s funeral service.
