Vice President JD Vance warned that serving in President Donald Trump’s administration leaves him at risk of becoming an “entitled” jerk, even as he racks up luxury trips and boasts about the “army” of people who serve him.

Vance made the admission Thursday on The Way I Heard It podcast after host Mike Rowe asked what his deceased grandmother would think of him now.
“My life is, dude, totally transformed,” Vance said. “I don’t have to cook anymore because I’ve got an army of people who are willing, to like, to cook me my food.”
Vance called this transformation “Weird.”
“I fly around on a 757, no more TSA lines for me or the kids,” he said. “It can become the sort of thing that, if you internalize it, you start to be an entitled a——.”
Reports show some Democrats think the transition has already happened.
Last year, the Democratic National Committee last year blasted Vance for taking eight luxury family vacations in seven months, MEAWW reported at the time.
“It’s clear Vance’s loyalties lie with the ultra-wealthy he’s been vacationing with — not with working Americans who are struggling under the Trump-Vance billionaire-first agenda,” DNC Rapid Response Director Kendall Witmer said.

Meanwhile, NBC News reported Thursday that the Vance family is considering leasing a property in Middleburg, Virginia — a town about 45 miles outside Washington known for multimillion-dollar horse farms — with the Secret Service planning security if the move proceeds.
Not every resident will be rolling out the welcome mat.
“We don’t need a bunch of fanfare,” Trow Littleton, father of Middleburg’s mayor, told NBC News. “There are a ton of police cars coming through.”
Vance’s boss President Donald Trump also grapples with his sense of entitlement, only in his case it’s in regards to a third term.
“Well, we’re entitled to it,” Trump declared in February. “Because they cheated like hell in the second one.”
