GOP insiders’ damning secret thoughts on ‘despicable’ Trump revealed by Nicolle Wallace

MS NOW anchor Nicolle Wallace revealed a damning pattern among Trump insiders when they’re free to speak their minds.

During an interview with The Bulwark Podcast, Wallace recounted her experience covering Trump and what she’s noticed about the insiders who are allowed to speak candidly about the president and his administration.

“We’ve been covering Trump for 10 years,” Wallace said. “There has never been a book or a revelation or an article or an interview that’s come out that reveals anything positive about any of these people.”

Compared to journalists, insiders have “worse things” to say about Trump, she said.

” JD Vance, Mitch McConnell, and John Kelly have said much worse things about Donald Trump than I ever have,” Wallace said. “They call him despicable. They call him damaged. They call him broke.”

Trump insiders are pointing out “things I wouldn’t know because I don’t see him up close,” she suggested.

“They’re credible, but there’s never been an occasion where someone who is up close with Trump leaves and says anything more positive than [what] they said when they were working for him,” Wallace pointed out. “It’s always the other direction.”

Wallace, a former Republican communications official, argued the pattern holds even for figures still on the right. She pointed to Kyle Seraphin, a suspended FBI agent and Trump supporter who has turned sharply on Kash Patel’s management of the bureau.

“Anybody that is then all of a sudden free to be honest sounds like us, because that’s what the truth is,” she said.
