Texas Republican delegate Trisha Hope, once a Front Row Joe herself, vented after Trump spotted the group in the crowd at a rally in Georgia on Wednesday.

“I think they make a lot of money too,” Trump said, per a transcript of his remarks. “I’m hearing they’re very rich. They follow us.”

This infuriated Hope.

“I have to call out something completely fictional that he said about them today,” Hope wrote on X. “Trump WRONGLY says to them ‘you’ve made a lot of money, you’re rich.'”

She added, “This shows me how absolutely clueless he is on what these folks have sacrificed in order to support him.”

The Front Row Joes are Donald Trump’s most devoted rally-goers — supporters who camp out for hours, even days, to secure a front-row spot, according to CBS News. They drive through the night and pay out of pocket for travel, food, and whatever shelter they can find, Hope wrote.

“They DO NOT MAKE MONEY!!” Hope wrote. “In fact it costs them a GREAT deal of money and time to attend.”

“I was a Front Row Joe, and this really bothers me,” she added. Donald Trump’s most loyal rally supporters, she wrote, are “incredibly loyal and deserving of much more than they have been given by Trump.”

Hope said she left the Front Row Joes last year after Trump made comments about Jeffrey Epstein, but said she could not stay silent after Wednesday’s remarks.

“I just couldn’t remain silent when I heard Trump talk as if the Front Row Joe’s are profiting from their rally attendance,” she wrote. “It is the exact opposite.”
