President Donald Trump has been sporting what appears to be more hair in a slightly different color, and one of his former biographers has a good idea why.

In an interview with the Daily Beast’s Joanna Coles, author Michael Wolff reminded his host that the president is, for all intents and purposes, bald on top and that his new look is a new attempt to keep that a secret as what he has left thins even more.
With Coles stating the president looks like he is now wearing a “hamster” on his head, Wolff dug into the president’s hair history.
Wolff revealed the reality beneath Trump’s carefully maintained appearance.
“Well, I can tell you what’s… under Donald Trump’s hair,” Wolff said. “Nothing. That’s actually what the top of Donald Trump’s head is like.”
Ivanka Trump, the president’s daughter, reportedly mocked her father’s elaborate hair maintenance process to friends, previously, he noted.

According to Wolff’s account, Ivanka described the follicle mechanics covering “an absolutely clean pate—a contained island after scalp reduction surgery—surrounded by a furry circle of hair around the sides and front, from which all ends are drawn up to meet in the center and then swept back and secured by a stiffening spray.”
Wolff characterized the new comb-over as “a very central component’ to Trump’s identity and career.
“He’s a performer. Fourteen years as the star of a top-rated reality television show,” Wolff said. “It is about people looking at you. He understands that, as so many politicians, by the way, do not.”
