CNN anchor breaks down laughing at Todd Blanche: ‘I want to set my hair on fire!’

A CNN anchor broke down laughing at Attorney General Todd Blanche on Sunday.

Alex Witt was trying to listen to Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove’s take on Blanche’s commentary on his relationship with President Donald Trump when suddenly she broke into giggles.

The reason? Kamlager-Dove’s initial response to a clip of Blanche.

“I want to set my hair on fire after listening to that!” Kamlager-Dove exclaimed. “Todd Blanche is not the attorney general. I mean, he did get confirmed, but he is Trump’s personal lawyer!”

As Witt tried to control herself, resorting to putting her hands over her mouth, Kamlager-Dove continued to express her disdain over Blanche’s recent initiative to protect Trump from investigation.

Blanche appeared on Fox news to defend his Justice department memo, which claimed Trump can assert executive privilege over conversations with private advisors.

“This wasn’t us pushing the law beyond where it already was,” Blanche claimed. “A president has a right to have clear legal counsel from his advisors, and whether that advisor is getting paid by the federal government isn’t the only condition that matters.”

Kamlager-Dove responded to this clip with outrage.

“This is the guy who botched the release of the Epstein files,” she said. “This is the guy who is a sycophant of Donald Trump and is going to continue to carry out his agenda against the American people.”

Then the Democrat explained why she could not trust his claims.

“This attorney general has essentially sidestepped all kinds of questions about if he is going to be accountable to the American people, or is he going to be accountable to Donald Trump?” she said. “And the answers that you heard him share right there suggest that he is only interested in providing cover to Donald Trump.”

Replied Witt, “I knew most of that answer — but not the setting your hair on fire!”
