A review of Natalie Harp’s now-removed social media feed has uncovered years of posts showing extraordinary personal devotion to Donald Trump, predating her current role as a key White House aide.

CNN’s Isabel Chapman and Andrew Kaczynski conducted the review of the 35-year-old Harp’s apparently suspended account on X, formerly known as Twitter, as scrutiny of Harp’s closeness to Trump has intensified in recent weeks.
“These posts offered a public display of fealty,” Chapman told “CNN News Central.” “At the time, Harp was working as a conservative news anchor, but she continuously praised those trying to keep Trump in office and repeatedly cast him in heroic terms.”
The most striking material comes from Jan. 6, 2021, the day of the U.S. Capitol riot. More than 150 of Harp’s tweets from that day have since been deleted, though it’s unclear whether Harp or X removed them.
She quoted the president claiming the 2020 election was stolen, wrote “fight for Trump” a dozen times in a single post, and quoted Rudy Giuliani’s call for “trial by combat” — a remark Giuliani’s lawyers later said was hyperbolic rather than a call for violence. She also praised Republican lawmakers who challenged the election results, including Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz and Marjorie Taylor Greene, calling them “patriots.”

CNN found additional posts praising Trump dating back to 2016, and during his first impeachment, Harp tweeted Bible verses directed at him, including “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you” and a call to “vindicate” him “against an unfaithful nation.”
The newly unearthed tweets follow last week’s Daily Beast report on letters Harp reportedly wrote to Trump expressing personal devotion — letters CNN could not independently verify, though the White House defended them, calling Harp “one of the most loyal and hardworking aides of the president.”
Neither Harp nor the White House responded to CNN’s questions about Harp’s social media activity.
