Democratic Senate nominee Angie Nixon hit back Sunday after being called a “ghetto b—-” by far-right influencer and White House insider Laura Loomer, a racist attack that included a slight at her manner of speaking as a Black woman.

“These women are all ghetto, entitled, race-obsessed, destructive black B—— who are completely unfit for the power they hold,” Loomer wrote Friday in a social media post on X, referring to Nixon, two Black female lawmakers and one former lawmaker.
That same day, Nixon fired back at Loomer by flagging an odd moment in her career where she ate dog food on camera to promote a company that sells “anti-woke” products.
“Girl. You ate dog food on camera,” Nixon wrote. “In the words of Queen Latifah, ‘Who you calling a b—-?’”
Loomer doubled down on her attack while also raising the topic of Ebonics, which the Conference on College Composition & Communication defines as the “superordinate term for a category of Black language forms that derive from common historical, social, cultural, and material conditions.”
“I called you a ghetto b—-, because you are, Angie, and your record proves it,” Loomer wrote Friday night. “But, you speak Ebonics though, so maybe I need to bark at you and tug your leash and then you’ll finally understand.”

Nixon finally hit back at Loomer’s latest attack on Sunday morning with a dismissive set of instructions for the far-right influencer along with a plug for her Senate campaign website.
“When referring to me, it’s Representative Angie Nixon. However after November 3rd, YOU CAN CALL ME SENATOR!” Nixon wrote. “Folks. Donate if you want to see this happen.”
Nixon won her Democratic primary in a surprise upset after defeating her Democratic opponent despite being outraised by more than 16-to-1. Nixon’s victory represents the latest in a wave of victories for progressive candidates in Democratic primaries.
Loomer once described herself as a “white advocate” at an American Renaissance conference, a venue the Southern Poverty Law Center reportedly describes as a place where “racist ‘intellectuals’ rub shoulders with Klansmen, neo-Nazis and other white supremacists.”
