A deported alt-right provocateur claims he’s siccing lawyers on the “proud Islamophobe” conspiracy theorist he blames.

On Monday, Milo Yiannopoulos posted on X what appears to be a letter from attorneys at Muslim Legal to Laura Loomer regarding her claim she helped get him deported.
“Our office has been retained by Mr. Milo Yiannopoulos in connection with civil claims arising from reported statements, communications, and conduct concerning his immigration status,” the letter states. “You have been identified as a potential party to reasonably anticipated litigation.”
Wrote Yiannopoulos in his post, “Let’s playyyyy.”
As a reminder, Yiannopoulos is a former Breitbart editor, forced to resign over statements regarding pedophilia, who made a career for himself by publicly calling Black people “apes” and embracing the online bullying of women.
Yiannopoulos reappeared in headlines late last month when President Donald Trump’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained and deported him back to the United Kingdom.
Loomer, whose conspiracy theories include the baseless 2024 claim that Haitian immigrants were eating pets and that 9/11 was “an inside job,” has claimed credit for the deportation.

“I was the first person to report on the fact that Milo was in the US illegally,” Loomer wrote on X. “I reported him to ICE and the FBI.”
On Monday, Yiannopoulos claimed he had retained lawyers who are now demanding Loomer not delete or destroy any communications regarding his immigration status.
“Given that litigation concerning this matter is reasonably anticipated, this letter constitutes formal notice of your obligation to preserve potentially relevant evidence,” the lawyer’s letter states.
“You are hereby requested to take immediate and reasonable steps to preserve all documents, communications, electronically stored information (“ESI”), and other evidence within your possession.”
