Vice President JD Vance was heckled at a Kansas campaign event for Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS), then accused the protester of coming in to lie about the senator.

The interruption came Monday afternoon at Webco Manufacturing in Olathe, during remarks carried live by LiveNOW from Fox to more than 93,000 viewers. The stop was a MAGA Inc. event, according to ABC News 4, and came as Marshall seeks reelection in Kansas this year. MAGA Inc. is President Donald Trump’s main super PAC.
“We are not going to stand by as we allow illegal immigrants and foreign corporations to undercut the wages of the people in this factory,” Vance said, moments before the shouting began.
“I see we have a guy who is protesting,” Vance said, repeating the line twice as the man kept yelling.
Supporters drowned him out with chants of “USA! USA!” as men in dark red shirts pushed the man, who wore a green shirt, through the crowd and out of the building, the livestream showed.
“The last time I gave a speech, and we had a guy who was interrupting, he had the common courtesy to bring a Mexican flag so we knew where he stood,” Vance told the crowd.
Vance was referring to the Republican midterm convention in Dallas four days earlier, where a protester interrupted his keynote address while waving a Mexican flag, The Post Millennial reported.

“Well, my friend, if you love Mexico so much, get your a— over there. I’ll buy you the plane ticket,” Vance said at the time, according to the outlet.
Vance insisted that Monday’s protester in Kansas “decided to come in and lie about my very dear friend, Doc Marshall.” It was not immediately clear what the protester yelled.
“Doc Marshall has stood up for everyday Americans every single day he’s been in the United States Senate,” Vance continued.
Marshall said ahead of the visit that he looked forward to “sharing the manufacturing renaissance happening across our state,” according to JC Post.
Back at the podium, Vance turned to credit card swipe fees, the charges stores pay to process card payments. He said he and Marshall worked on the issue together in the Senate, and that the senator had led the fight against Wall Street to bring the fees down.
