A self-proclaimed “MAHA Mom” unloaded on President Donald Trump for engineering the defeat of Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY).<\/p>\n

Zen Honeycutt, executive director of the grassroots group Moms Across America, warned the president on CNN’s “The Situation Room” that she and others who are involved in the “Make America Healthy Again” would withhold their electoral support for betraying what they believe he promised during his 2024 campaign.<\/p>\n

“We championed<\/span> policy and public servants who <\/span>put children, health, safety<\/span> and America’s future first, and<\/span> that’s exactly what<\/span> Rep. Massie was doing,” Honeycutt said.<\/span> “The irony is that he was<\/span> running, he was championing the<\/span> very issues that Trump ran on<\/span> when he got elected, which is<\/span> putting small farmers first,<\/span> you know, supporting health and<\/span> getting pesticides out of our<\/span> food, and also, you know, h<\/span>e put forth all kinds of<\/span> issues for health and safety<\/span> that Trump said that he was<\/span> going to do.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Honeycutt said her movement delivered about 9 million votes and represents one of the biggest blocs of swing voters, but she said Trump’s actions have alienated many of them.<\/span><\/p>\n

“What<\/span> I’m seeing now for the midterm<\/span> elections is that this group of<\/span> people who are extremely<\/span> disgruntled,” she said.
“I’m seeing<\/span> Republicans saying that they <\/span>feel marooned, that they don’t<\/span> have a place, they’re seeing<\/span> where to put their vote, and so<\/span> I’m seeing a rise of the<\/span> potential for a third party, a<\/span>nd as a mom, I’m very excited<\/span> because we are not beholden to<\/span> a political party. We vote for<\/span> those who put health and safety<\/span> first. The last election showed<\/span> that, and unfortunately, this<\/span> election with Massie, it got<\/span> shut down by three billionaires<\/span> and foreign money that came<\/span> from other countries, and that<\/span> is not America. That’s not how<\/span> we need to be working. That’s<\/span> not what we want to see going<\/span> forward.”<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“But, in fact, what’s<\/span> happening right now is Massie<\/span> is freed up the next seven<\/span> months,” Honeycutt said. “He has <\/span><\/span><\/span>nothing left to<\/span> lose, right? He is going to let<\/span> it rip on the Hill, and he will, a<\/span>nd I think Trump’s going to<\/span> regret that, and it frees him<\/span> up to be able to run for<\/span> president, which his supporters<\/span> are screaming for, so we’re<\/span> actually excited about what the<\/span> future holds. We are not going <\/span>to stop. MAHA is not crushed.<\/span> We’re not going away. We are<\/span> going to continue to fight for<\/span> the health and safety of our<\/span> children.”<\/span><\/p>\n
