A widely shared video clip shows a steady stream of people walking away from the stage area during the president’s speech, and multiple news outlets reported that turnout was a disappointing start to the 16-day fair marking the nation’s 250th anniversary. <\/p>\n

“The Crowd was incredible last night, packed to the brim \u2014 At least 45,000 people were there, with a huge Television and online audience,” Trump posted Thursday afternoon on Truth Social. “I wish we were able to have an even larger area, which we will be able to do on July 4th when I\u2019ll be speaking again. The airplane flyovers and music were fantastic.”<\/p>\n
