Fox News host Mark Levin disturbed onlookers Saturday after expressing disappointment that the Trump administration hadn\u2019t authorized a strike on funeral proceedings<\/u> for Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who was killed in U.S.-Israeli strikes back in late February.<\/p>\n

\u201cYesterday, the enemy gathered [en masse] all in one place,\u201d Levin, a close ally of President Donald Trump\u2019s, wrote Saturday in a social media post<\/u> on X. \u201cOpportunity lost.\u201d<\/p>\n

That Levin spent part of America\u2019s 250th anniversary presumably expressing disappointment that a funeral had not been targeted in an attack disturbed a handful of critics.<\/p>\n

\u201cMark Levin spends July 4th fantasizing about the US breaking its ceasefire with Iran to bomb a funeral,\u201d wrote<\/u> Chris Menahan, an independent journalist and publisher of Information Liberation.<\/p>\n

Conservative podcast host Robb Carter called<\/u> Levin \u201cthe most nauseating human in media\u201d in response to his July 4th musings, and conservative author and political analyst Rich Baris called Levin\u2019s remarks \u201cclinically insane.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is literally talking about executing the heads of state \u2013 including allies \u2013 and starting a World War we cannot win,\u201d Baris wrote<\/u>. \u201cInsane.\u201d<\/p>\n

Previously a \u201cNever Trump<\/u>\u201d conservative, Levin has championed the president amid his deeply unpopular<\/u> war against Iran. After the Trump administration reached a tentative peace deal with Iran, however, Levin appeared to reverse course<\/u> and repeatedly attacked the Trump administration for having \u201ccapitulated\u201d to Iran\u2019s demands.<\/p>\n
