White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt scrambled Sunday to defend her recent comments attacking young Americans for being \u201craised with silver spoons in their mouths\u201d and \u201cgetting everything handed to them,\u201d but in doing so, only exacerbated MAGA\u2019s outrage.<\/p>\n

Speaking with Fox News\u2019 Jesse Watters last week, Leavitt claimed that young Americans were suffering from “laziness” and characterized them as entitled. The remarks sparked outrage among critics across the political spectrum, many of whom noted Leavitt\u2019s ascent to wealth as being connected to her marriage to millionaire real estate developer Nicholas Riccio, 32 years her senior.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, Leavitt lashed out at critics as \u201cbad faith actors\u201d in a 404-word social media post and claimed her remarks were taken \u201cout of context.\u201d Her response did not go over well with right-wing critics.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo one is reading all that. And you didn’t write it,\u201d wrote A.J. Delgado, a former senior adviser to President Donald Trump\u2019s 2016 campaign, in a social media post<\/u> on X.<\/p>\n

Kyle Seraphin, a conservative podcaster and former FBI agent, quipped<\/u> in response, \u201cIf you are explaining, you are losing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leavitt\u2019s remarks even caught criticism from a self-proclaimed<\/u> \u201cpro-white nationalist\u201d writer, who referred to Leavitt as \u201csome boomer\u2019s trophy wife.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leavitt also received scrutiny from other figures in the conservative media space.<\/p>\n

\u201cKaroline Leavitt thinks Gen Z just needs to pull themselves up by their bootstraps and marry a 60-year-old New Hampshire real estate developer\/resort landlord who you meet during your failed congressional run,\u201d wrote journalist Patrick Howley in a social media post on X to his more than 96,000 followers. \u201cStop whining.
