An entire MS NOW panel burst into laughter this morning as the show’s producers trolled President Donald Trump for dragging down the economy.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, it was announced that the US GDP grew at an anemic 1.5 percent rate which led \u201cMorning Joe\u201d co-host Joe Scarborough to blurt, \u201cOh my God, that is not good.\u201d<\/p>\n

As the segment began, host Scarborough went on a rant about Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick predicting massive growth for this quarter a year ago, before adding a sarcastic \u201cwah wah wah.\u201d<\/p>\n

That was when the producers took over, adding a sad trombone “womp womp” repeatedly, leading to laughter from everyone. <\/p>\n

Axios founder Jim VandeHei commented that current mortgage rates have reached \u201csatanic levels.\u201d <\/p>\n

Scarbough quipped in response, \u201cYou know, it’s a really bad sign when you call your banker and say, ‘What are mortgage rates at?’ and the answer is: \u2018I am legion 666.'”<\/p>\n

This prompted another sound effect. <\/p>\n

Turning to MS NOW contributor Richard Haas, Scarborough joked, \u201cI mean you were around Richard in the 1920\u2019s!” <\/p>\n

He then corrected to the 1980s and added, “We had stagflation, man. And that’s where you’re getting it from both sides.\u201d <\/p>\n

Finally, Mika Brzezinski told producers to “play that sound again,” prompting more gales of laughter as the producers complied. <\/p>\n
