Jeanine Pirro, the judge and television star-turned U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, could soon be out of a job, journalist Molly Jong-Fast said Sunday.<\/p>\n

\u201cTrump operates on this sort of ‘Earth 2’ scenario where things are as he says they are,” Jong-Fast said during an appearance on MS NOW. “We saw this with Kristi Noem where you can only shift reality so much.”<\/p>\n

A loyal ally to Trump, Pirro invoked the president\u2019s anger<\/u> this weekend after her office dropped charges against a man accused of vandalizing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, U.S. Olympic canoeist David Hearn. <\/p>\n

Pirro was forced to admit in a court filing that the damage to the pool was instead caused by a \u201cflawed installation.\u201d<\/p>\n

For Jong-Fast, crossing Trump \u2013 especially as a woman in his administration \u2013 was an easy indicator of an early termination.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe got this job because Donald Trump liked her on television, so it’s not as if she’s eminently qualified,\u201d Jong-Fast said. \u201cPart of being in this administration \u2013 especially for women \u2013 is appearing in a way that pleases Donald Trump, whatever that means.<\/p>\n

“You could certainly see her losing her job over this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stuart Stevens, former campaign strategist for Republican Mitt Romney during his failed 2012 presidential bid, then jumped in to express his exhaustion over Trump\u2019s Reflecting Pool fixation.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe’re talking about the Reflecting Pool?\u201d Stevens said. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe’re at war, under 30 percent of the people in the country think the economy is going in the right direction, and this is what it’s like? I just say to my former Republicans, good luck this November, baby, because nobody cares about this but Donald Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n
