President Donald Trump fired off a wild claim during an ad-lib session at the White House ceremony for Team USA on Thursday. <\/p>\n

Trump hosted the Olympic team at the White House to celebrate their achievements during the 2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympics in Milan, Italy, where one athlete gave Trump a letterman’s jacket and thanked him for “inspiring a movement that’s uniting people across our country.” At one point, the president weaved into a diatribe about how his administration has “saved women’s sports” and college sports as well. <\/p>\n

“We’re in the process of working very hard,” Trump said. “We had a bad judge’s decision. A judge that knew nothing about sports. Declared sports unconstitutional, can you believe it?”<\/p>\n

It was unclear which decision Trump was referring to, but he was likely talking about the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn a lower court’s ruling about excluding transgender athletes from women’s sports. <\/p>\n
