Considering the track records of all of her predecessors, you\u2019d think Trump would\u2019ve installed a golden revolving door to the Press Room, along with all of the other unnecessary renovations he\u2019s making to our White House while vandalizing D.C. to make America look as weak as possible on the global stage.<\/p>

Weird how nobody\u2019s ever asked KKKaroline about that, or what happened to all of the historical artifacts from the East Wing after he decided to bulldoze it.<\/p>

Anyway, many people are saying Leavitt\u2019s breaking point came when she learned she was on the decoy plane from Turkey<\/u>, while Trump\u2019s wet nurse, Natalie Harp, got to fly with him, as did Diet Coke Valet Walt Nauta. <\/p>

However, some other people are suggesting that the decoy plane story is a decoy in and of itself, and that Trump flew back on an Air Force One tricked out like a hospital, including his full staff of 18 doctors. Because the media couldn\u2019t have been allowed to see all of that, the second, or \u201cdecoy,\u201d plane was packed with Cabinet members making sure the media had full access to them.<\/p>

Weird if true, huh?<\/p>

In all likelihood, KKKaroline most likely learned that a truncated maternity leave is bad for a postpartum new mom in all kinds of ways, but especially when she\u2019s forced to return to multiple Trump scandals that also include her. Now that her reign of Trumpterror is coming to an end, one name being floated to replace her belongs to someone who\u2019s already established himself as an ultimate Trumpsimp: CNN\u2019s smarmiest, whiniest, and most compromised commentator, Scott \u201cI\u2019m Telling Mom!\u201d Jennings.<\/p>

Jennings has been repeatedly criticized for his personal attacks on his fellow panelists, from Leigh McGowan to Adam Mockler.<\/p>

He’s gone off the rails multiple times, condescendingly bullying panelists while incorporating the right-wing propaganda he\u2019s more than happy to spread. Viewer complaints about Jennings have made him a liability for CNN, because he\u2019s made it abundantly clear that he\u2019s fine with Trump\u2019s entire record of crimes against women, children, and the rest of humanity. <\/p>

Which makes him the perfect replacement for Leavitt.<\/p>

Trump demands loyalty above all else, yet never returns any. I don\u2019t know why all of these people are letting him treat them so badly when he\u2019s a convicted felon adjudicated rapist who\u2019s mentioned in the Epstein Files roughly 36,700 more times than Jesus is mentioned in the Bible. We can just add that to the endless list of \u201cwhy\u201d questions that will never be answered, something Jennings excels at doing.<\/p>

I\u2019ve repeatedly tried to get any response on Twitter from Smug Scotty, but like most mediocre MAGA men, he\u2019s never once replied. They love the ostrich method of ignoring the truth they don\u2019t like, which will be hard for him to maintain from behind a podium.<\/p>

Putting Jennings at the Press Room podium presents yet another opportunity for the Democrats to finally hire a Press Secretary of their own. If I had a dollar for every time I\u2019ve written<\/u>, podcasted<\/u>, or tweeted <\/u>about my idea, I would at least have enough dollars to pay my rent for a year. <\/p>

It would be beyond simple and relatively inexpensive for the Democrats to set up a daily press briefing at the Capitol, which would take place after Scotty J finishes lying and bullying the media for the day. <\/p>

The Democratic Press Secretary, their Deputy, and staff would need a couple of offices and a podium, and that\u2019s about it. All press would be welcome to attend the daily briefing, regardless of which outlet they work for. <\/p>

As for who should be in that role, let\u2019s first eliminate who shouldn\u2019t be doing it:<\/p>

-current members of the government<\/p>

-anyone considering a run for president in 2028<\/p>

I realize that leaves a fairly wide-open field. I\u2019d first look to someone who\u2019s got media experience already, similar to Scott Jennings, but nicer, smarter, and not at all smug or treasonous. <\/p>

Despite the title \u201cSecretary\u201d being gender-neutral, I will always prefer a woman in that role ever since Allison Janney played CJ Cregg on The West Wing<\/em><\/em>. Putting a woman in such a vitally important public-facing and high-profile role matters, especially at a time when the Republican Party is systematically trying to take away all of our rights. She would be the grown-up alternative to Jennings and his juvenile antics, laying the groundwork to restore some dignity to the White House once Democrats get it back in 2028. <\/p>

It\u2019s unlikely my top choice, Jessica Tarlov<\/u>, would be interested in taking a severe pay cut to leave Fox News, plus she\u2019s performing a much-needed public service there five days a week on The Five. I\u2019m not sure what the contracts are like over at MS Now, formerly MSNBC, but I could easily see Symone Sanders-Townsend<\/u> taking on the press with her patented take-no-BS attitude.<\/p>

My friend, former Republican strategist Cheri Jacobus<\/u>, would also be stellar in the role, especially since she\u2019s also been advocating for a Democratic Press Secretary for about as long as I have. <\/p>

Some people have suggested I should be the Democratic Press Secretary, and that\u2019s a no from me. I prefer a more behind-the-scenes role because I\u2019m a bossy Taurus \u2014 but one who loves being part of a team. \u201cConsultant\u201d sounds pretty good, which I kind of feel I already am because I keep giving them my ideas for free.<\/p>

Americans are craving the truth like it\u2019s a fresh salad right now \u2014 we have no idea what\u2019s safe and what might kill us anymore. And that\u2019s something a Democratic Press Secretary would never lie about.<\/p>
