President Donald Trump erupted at New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman on social media Friday, calling her a \u201cstalker\u201d and demanding that she surrender money earned from reporting about him.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaggot Hagerman, the Fake Reporter from The Failing New York Times, an unattractive person both inside and out,\u201d Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform before adding that the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist was \u201ca SCAMMER!\u201d <\/p>\n

Trump\u2019s anger appeared to stem from a report about his plans for the anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. He accused Haberman of falsely reporting that he would attend a Pentagon ceremony rather than the World Trade Center site because he would not be permitted to speak at Ground Zero.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is more Corrupt News,\u201d Trump wrote Friday. \u201cI\u2019ve been to New York many times over the years, and no one ever speaks, it\u2019s a ‘solemn ceremony!’ I never even thought of what Maggot made up, and besides, I would love not to speak, because I\u2019m speaking all the time, and this is a day to remember the victims, and their beautiful family members.\u201d<\/p>\n

The president, in his lengthy post, threatened legal action against the Times and continued attacking Haberman over her reporting on other investigations.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaggot Hagerman is a PHONY, and The New York Times knows it!\u201d he told his followers. \u201cIt will all be revealed in the lawsuit against them, and another lawsuit against the organization which gives out the now discredited Pulitzer Prize, because Maggie got one for her \u2018reporting\u2019 on THE RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA HOAX, which turned out to be a total CON JOB!\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump concluded by accusing Haberman of covering him for financial gain.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf she were ever forced to reveal her \u2018sources,\u2019 you will find out they either don\u2019t exist, or didn\u2019t say what she reported,\u201d he wrote. \u201cShe\u2019s been falsely writing about me for years \u2014 She\u2019s a stalker, and should be forced to turn over any and all money that she\u2019s made through her fake reporting on me.\u201d<\/p>\n
