Three Epstein survivors confronted Rep. James Comer (R-KY) in a moment that made the GOP lawmaker visibly uncomfortable, just minutes before a closed-door interview with former Attorney General Pam Bondi was set to question her on Friday about deceased sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.<\/p>\n

As Comer was taking questions from the press, he was forced to respond to the victims who were on Capitol Hill before the House Oversight Committee meeting. The closed-door interview was not videotaped but was expected to focus on the “sloppy rollout of the Epstein files,” MS NOW anchor Ali Vitali reported.<\/p>\n

“In a remarkable<\/span> moment just a short time ago, a<\/span> group of Epstein survivors<\/span> peppered oversight committee<\/span> Chair James Comer with their<\/span> own questions ahead of Bondi’s <\/span>session,” Vitali said.<\/span><\/p>\n

“These people cannot be<\/span> brought in under transcribed<\/span> interviews. Can you ensure that<\/span> they would please be brought in<\/span> under oath?” Sharlene Rochard, an Epstein survivor, asked Comer.<\/span><\/p>\n

The chairman of the committee seemed surprised by the line of questioning.<\/span><\/p>\n

“If you lie to Congress, it’s<\/span> a felony,” Comer said. “So it’s, you know,<\/span> we’re bringing them in. We’re<\/span> bringing people in that have<\/span> never been brought in before.”<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span> “Survivors’ names over and<\/span> over and over were exposed,” Liz Stein, Epstein survivor, told Comer. “Yet<\/span> we see time and time again,<\/span> perpetrators names have been<\/span> redacted when they shouldn’t<\/span> have been. Are we going to get<\/span> some answers?”<\/span><\/p>\n

Comer responded.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span> “I hope so, those are the<\/span> questions we’re going to ask,” he said.<\/span> “And you know, we’re doing this.<\/span> We want justice for the<\/span> survivors.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Vitali commented on the moment.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Stunning to see them<\/span> confront Comer themselves,” Vitali added.<\/span><\/p>\n
