The \u201cGreat American State Fair<\/u>\u201d \u2013 a multi-day festival organized by the President Donald Trump-linked group Freedom 250 \u2013 has seen a mass exodus<\/u> of performers bail on the event after they learned of its ties to the president, and the Trump administration is scrambling to find acts to replace them, insiders told Zeteo in its report<\/u> Saturday.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe can\u2019t just have Kid Rock every day [of the state fair],\u201d a Trump appointee told Zeteo, speaking on the condition of anonymity. \u201cIt\u2019s a little f—— embarrassing when you can\u2019t hold on to Bret Michaels<\/u>\u2026 But we\u2019re confident we\u2019ll get a good line-up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since announcing the lineup for the patriotic event designed to celebrate the United States\u2019 250th anniversary, \u201cnearly all<\/u>\u201d performers had pulled out of the event. An entertainment industry insider, also speaking on the condition of anonymity, told Zeteo that when reaching out to artists for the event, Freedom 250 \u201cseemed almost purposefully vague at times, with Donald Trump\u2019s name not being used once.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI should have done my research,\u201d the insider told Zeteo.<\/p>\n

According to multiple other sources, also all speaking on the condition of anonymity, most of those working on behalf of the artists booked for the event weren\u2019t aware of what Freedom 250 even was, or its connection to Trump.<\/p>\n

The Trump administration\u2019s search for replacement acts may prove difficult, however, based on the feedback from one \u201cwell-connected Hollywood agent\u201d who spoke with Zeteo on the condition of anonymity.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think most of my clients even need me to tell them this, but I would tell [them]: If someone approaches you about performing at Trump\u2019s state fair, flush that invitation down the toilet if you know what\u2019s good for your career,\u201d the agent told Zeteo.<\/p>\n
