Pro-MAGA radio host Jesse Kelly accused Republicans of committing malpractice by sitting on campaign cash with the midterm elections roughly 10 weeks away.

Kelly made the charge on the Aug. 24 broadcast of “The Jesse Kelly Show,” adding in a post on X that he felt the GOP seems to be waving the white flag.
The radio host sourced his outrage to a conversation with President Donald Trump’s former press secretary Sean Spicer.
“Why are we not unloading all this money? What are we saving the money for? Are we saving it for 2028? What has happened? This is malpractice,” Kelly said.
“Sean Spicer told me the GOP is sitting on a gargantuan amount of money — a gigantic amount of money. We are 70, 71 days, something like that, away from the election, and they’re not spending it,” the host said.
“Same thing’s happening in Michigan. Same thing’s happening in North Carolina. Same thing’s happening in Georgia.”
Federal filings show a version of what Spicer described, the Election Law Blog reported.
Trump’s MAGA Inc. super PAC held nearly $404 million at the end of July, Bloomberg reported. It spent nothing that month to help Republican candidates.

Its outlays went instead to consulting fees, bank charges, credit card payments and an event photographer, according to those filings.
Texas shows the gap, the Texas Tribune reported. Democratic state Rep. James Talarico has spent more than $25 million on advertising since late May. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton spent $119,000. The race is deadlocked, according to Emerson College Polling, which found Paxton at 47% and Talarico at 46%.
The super PAC did spend once this month, the Washington Times reported, but not on a battleground.
MAGA Inc. put nearly $830,000 behind Sen. Darline Graham (R-SC) on the last day of a Republican primary runoff, the Washington Times reported. It was the group’s first major outlay since November 2025.
Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC), who lost that runoff, accused outside PACs of spending $8 million against him, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency reported.
“Brings me back to our discussion about Jared Kushner meeting with Hakeem Jeffries, already trying to hash out some common ground. Are we already giving up on November?” Kelly said.
