In her view, Republicans need to put aside the typical strategy of waiting until September to go live with their ads, and be out there right now, screaming the message from the rooftops that Democrats are a grave threat to each and every one of the country’s freedoms.
“I disagree with the conventional wisdom,” said Ingraham. “I think that you have to hammer them every single day until November. Cannot wait.”
She added that Beltway consultants “drive me nuts” because “they fly around in private jets, they collect a huge amount of money, and I think they’re lying to these Republican candidates.”

The fact is, she said, that “this is going to be a brutal cycle. Republicans might pull it out; we all hope they do. But they have got to hammer that they’re coming for your money, your gas-powered car, your air conditioner, everything you love, your private health insurance, and they’re going to take it from you. Period, end of story.”
President Donald Trump’s poll numbers have cratered to all-time lows in recent surveys, and the Republican Party as a whole is flagging as well, sending insiders into a panic as their odds fade of bucking the typical midterm trend of the opposition party prevailing.
The administration appears to be bracing for the inevitability of at least a Democratic House majority, with Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner holding a secret meeting with Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries to discuss how a divided government could work next year.
