‘Lonely’ Nancy Mace called out to her face over her wild remarks: ‘Outlandish?’

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) admitted her life can be “lonely” after a TMZ reporter confronted her to her face about the “outlandish” things she says — a description the MAGA lawmaker immediately rejected.

The moment unfolded Thursday during a brief outside interview, where Mace was asked whether she might ever date a Democrat — and revealed that she already had the opportunity.

“Yes, although I just turned one down,” Mace said. “I had a lot of suitors when the tattoo story came out, including some Democrats. But I turned all of them down. I just said no.”

“I turned everybody down,” she added. “I don’t know that I’ll ever date again.

The exchange took a turn when the reporter asked whether men might be put off by “some of the outlandish things” she says.

“You think what I say is outlandish?” Mace shot back.

“Yes,” the reporter replied.

“Really? Because I think I just speak the truth and speak common sense,” Mace said. “I don’t think anything I say is outlandish.”

Mace went on to suggest that the real problem was that “some men are intimidated” by her and dismissed the possibility of toning down her rhetoric.

“I’m having too much fun,” she said. “There are so many dumbasses in the world. Sometimes somebody has to put them in their place, even when I’m a dumbass.”

The South Carolina lawmaker added that she returns home to her two dogs, a cat, and “a glass of red wine.”

“It’s lonely,” Mace said. “I don’t recommend divorce. I recommend to my friends: Stay married.”
